Need a permit for a steel carport?
The same goes for a steel carport: in many cases, a permit is not needed, as long as you stay under 30 m² and 3 metres high in the rear yard area. But the rules vary per municipality and location. Think about requirements from the zoning plan or additional building standards tests. Sometimes additional studies are also required (flora & fauna, nitrogen).
