Solar porch in Babberich

In 2024, Shift to Solar realised a stylish and sustainable solar veranda in a backyard in Babberich. The wooden veranda not only provides a comfortable outdoor space, but also actively contributes to the generation of solar energy. Clever design with integrated solar panels The roof of the veranda is made up of 15 solar panels, expertly installed in PEXT profiles. As a result, the panels are tightly integrated into the roof and the construction is completely watertight. A smart gutter drains the rainwater into a rain barrel, which also incorporates sustainability in terms of water management. Smart energy generation in your own garden With an expected annual yield of 5,550 kWh, the solar veranda provides not only comfort, but also efficiency. That means annual CO₂ savings of about 2.22 tonnes - comparable to the effect of 170 trees or avoiding some 13,000 kilometres of driving a petrol car. Sustainable solar veranda for football club in Zwolle

In collaboration with Veldman Techniek, we installed a durable steel solar veranda at a football club in Zwolle. The canopy is 16 metres wide and fitted with 42 solar panels, which means it generates green energy as well as shelter for spectators. This allows visitors to comfortably enjoy matches on the pitch, while the club actively contributes to a more sustainable future. Environmental gain The expected annual production of this installation is 15,449 kWh, resulting in CO₂ savings of 6.3 tonnes per year.
