A 7.5-metre-wide Solar bicycle shelter has been installed at the Embassy of Canada in The Hague. This canopy combines shelter for bikes with sustainable energy generation via high-quality glass-glass solar panels. The installation came complete with inverter, foundation and integrated charging boxes, allowing users to easily charge their e-bikes with solar energy.
The structure is made of 120 × 60 mm steel tubing (4 mm thick), powder-coated in a RAL colour of your choice, and stands on anthracite-coloured concrete pillars with height adjusters. The charging stations offer a total of eight charging points, suitable for Shimano, Bosch and Schuko sockets, and feature a ventilated housing to prevent condensation.
Fully integrated: Supplied with foundation, inverter, cabling and remote monitoring.
Multifunctional design: shelter and sustainable energy generation in one.
E-bike charging convenience: eight charging points for different systems, powered directly by solar panels.
Robust construction: Powder-coated steel tubes for long service life.
