Solar carport for apartment complex in Dongen

Shift to Solar has realised two steel Solar carports at the construction site of Bouwbedrijf van Grunsven in Dongen. The carports have a width of 14 and 20 metres respectively and offer sustainable roofing and energy generation in one place.

The structures are equipped with a total of 87 high-quality solar panels of 450 Wp each. These provide enough renewable electricity annually to cover a significant proportion of the energy needs on the construction site, with substantial savings on CO₂ emissions. The robust steel construction and the integration of solar panels make this solution both practical and future-proof.
