Sustainability is an important consideration for us. For our products, we therefore use Red Class Wood, a wood species comparable to Douglas fir. Red Class Wood has the same favourable properties as Douglas fir and is impregnated under high pressure for extra protection. This treatment ensures that the wood has a long lifespan.
The solar porch from Shift to Solar comes with a warranty on both the materials used and the solar panels. We use only the highest quality glass-glass solar panels. Unlike panels with a plastic backing, these consist entirely of glass.
