In early 2025, we delivered a renewable energy project in Wijthmen (Overijssel) for two residents of a courtyard with a shared parking space. This involved three wooden solar carports placed, which together six parking spaces overlay.
The carports are equipped with 45 solar panels, with which the residents generate their own electricity. To make the most of this energy, both households use a SolarEdge home battery (9.2 kWh). This allows them to store some of the energy generated for later use. In addition, one of the residents has a SolarEdge EV charger, so that the solar power can be used directly for charging an electric car.
This installation delivers an expected annual production of 17,617.5 kWh, contributing to a substantial COโ reduction. The emissions saved are estimated to be 7.05 tonnes of COโ per year. By comparison:
โ Wooden construction - fits into the green surroundings of the courtyard
โ Own energy storage - optimal use of solar energy thanks to a home battery
โ Ready for e-mobility - with an integrated EV charger for directly charging an electric car
โ COโ-saving - contributes to energy transition and reduces emissions
